Description

DragonFrame is a stop motion animation software that was used to create several animated films, including Disney’s Frankenweenie, Laika’s Coraline, The Boxtrolls, and ParaNorman. It is also used to create stop motion scenes in live action films such as Star Wars. To create stop motion animation, the software controls a digital camera. Additional hardware add-ons can be attached to control the camera’s lighting and speed. This software enables the user to manipulate the camera and the scene and then combine the frames into a sequence of dynamic frames. Animators can view several different frames for comparison and preview a sequence of frames on an animated background.
