Necessary reference information (photo correction)
At least four control points or 2 reference observations are required for photo correction

Necessary reference information (map correction)
First/second/third degree polynomial transformation requires at least 3/6/10 control points

Required reference information (image orientation)
At least 9 control points or 4 control points and camera parameters are required
