Description

Polyboard is Boole & Partners’ interactive software for cabinet design and manufacturing based on world-class methods and methodologies. The program was originally designed for cabinets, but can be used for other similar applications such as cabinetry, bookshelves, doors, tool hinges, and more. Polyboard supports all types of cabinets with layered, tree-lined, composite and mixed materials etc. It is important to note that each change in the design of all calculations is done automatically and repeatedly. Imagine doing the same thing on paper. The smallest change from previous calculations is the total time spent trying to find and check other sizes. This is not the right procedure for a person who is in the business of making minimalist cabinets.

This program shows you a map of cabinets in both 3D and 3D, all realistically sized and applicable to the real world. Cuts and intersections and overlays of different colors are displayed. Don’t imagine it as a general tool for cabinet making, Polyboard starts with general design and comes with the most basic parts of drawers, doors, cabinet design and cabinet materials. Even parts like cutting paths, holes to be drilled, screw locations, inside cabinet edges and other similar details can be programmed easily. After completely designing the cabinet and making sure you have control over all its parts, you can download the required CNC device file from the program and go straight to the actual production steps of the cabinet.

System Requirements

Windows 7, 8, 10 or higher and 8GB RAM is recommended, 16GB if you are working on large and complex projects.

Graphics card (Polyboard, StairDesigner): Requires DirectX compatibility which almost all cards have. We recommend that the card has a minimum of 4GB of memory, or 8GB for larger projects.
