Pad Pro VX.2.10 version:

Use MentorKeyGen Tool V1.3.1e.exe Crack and readme file next.

Pad VX.2.7/2.8 Pro Version:

From the crack folder, run the MakeLic.bat file to create the Licensefile.dat file.
Create a folder named MentorGraphics in the root of C drive and copy the generated Licensefile.dat file into it (C:\MentorGraphics)
Run environment.reg file
From the Setup folder, run the setup.exe file and click Install Product
During installation, select Yes when the Licensing not found message is displayed
Select Import License, click Next, and then Browse. In the window that opens, from the lower left corner, change the value of Type file to License files (*.dat), go to C:\MentorGraphics and select the Licensefile.dat file.
Click Next and then it’s done
* If the installation page does not display properly, close the page and run setup.exe again.
Follow the installation steps
In the Post Installation Script step, click I want to continue through licensing setup and click Next
Select Mobile Compute and MGLS Licensing default values and click Next
Click Browse, select License Files (*.dat) from the bottom right corner and select the C:\MentorGraphics\licensefile.dat file.
Click Next and proceed
The software is now ready to use

PADSVX.2.2

This is for PADSVX.2.2, but works for any VX version of PADS, Standard and Standard Plus
1. Run the setup in the default folder (C:\MentorGraphics)
2. Skip the license install
3. Modify the installation as follows:
A) Change the target path to the C:\MentorGraphics\PADSVX folder you created earlier
b) Select all packages available for install from the product selection, then deselect the following:
– check for updates
– Design Archive
– Server Tools
4. Now run the installation.
5. During installation you will be asked to deregister older versions of PADS (9.5 and 2005). Click yes on that. You can use the release switcher to go back to one later.
6. After the install is finished, copy the MentorKG.exe and run.bat found in the Crack folder to the C:\MentorGraphics\PADSVX folder.
Run “run.bat” from there and wait until it generates a license file (should open a notepad license.txt)
Save this file as PADSVX_LICENSE.TXT in C:\MentorGraphics\PADSVX folder
7. Now run PADSVX Setup again (PADSVX.2.2_mib.exe), and this time do not skip the license installation. Click Next to proceed to license setup. Select the first option (Mobile, Compute, Node-Locked Licensing), click Next and browse to the PADSVX_LICENSE.TXT that you saved earlier in the C:\MentorGraphics\PADSVX folder. This will add the PADSVX license to the existing license (9.5 and 2005). When asked if you want to add another license, click No.
8. Everything should now be ready to use. You’ll find the program under START\PADSVX2.2. Install doesn’t create shortcuts for them, so you’ll have to do this yourself. Check if the PADSVX layout is working properly (make sure before doing anything else)
9. At any time, if you wish to revert to a previous version of PADS (9.5 or 2005), use the MGC BSD Release Switcher found under START/Mentor Graphics PCB Admin Utilities.
In the upper list, select the product you want to unregister (Deactivate) and in the lower list, the one you want to register (Activate). Click OK and it will take a few minutes to work. During the switch you will be asked if you want to configure the license. Select “I have a valid license”. I would like to skip the licensing setup.
Click Next and select working directory. This is the folder where PADS puts all the default folders (CAM, reuse,…etc). It doesn’t really matter which folder you choose, as you should configure these folders in PADS/OPTIONS. They are saved in the PADS ini file, so whenever you switch to a release, it should use the folders defined in that release’s ini file.
Click Finish, and after the installer registers a few more files, it should be done. Click Finish again.
