Description
kbmMW is a framework for developing multi-layer applications in Delphi and C++Builder. Two-tier or client-side applications are those applications that have two separate applications, one on the server (eg Oracle databases, SQL Server, etc.) and one on the clients. However, in a three-tier architecture, applications are divided into three tiers (the backend or server), the client (the user system), and the middle layer, commonly known as the business logic or application server.
The purpose of the three-tier architecture is to facilitate the development of multi-client applications, for example, imagine having multiple front-ends, one of which is written in Delphi, C++Builder, or .NET, as a common client version. for the web server, one for the WAP server and one for the linking server and so on. Well, it's not a good solution to duplicate the business rules for all these areas because it's a rework as well as development, support and future problem solving. Here, they usually define the interface layer as a business logic layer, in which case clients are directly connected to this layer and their queries are answered in the best way.
Of course, this architecture has other advantages, but kbmMW is a very good framework for implementing this architecture in applications written in Delphi and C++Builder, it supports different databases and coding speeds. Minimizes requirements. So when you want to get a SQL query, you do exactly the same as in two-tier mode and you won't feel any difference.
