Description

PC Progress HYDRUS is a software package for thermal, water and solubility simulations in 2D and 3D saturated media. The software package includes a computational computer program and an interactive graphical user interface. The suite contains numerical computational models for simulating the two- and three-dimensional motions of water, heat, and several solvents in a saturated environment. This model includes a parameter optimization algorithm to invert different soil hydraulic types and/or solvent transfer parameters. This model is supported by an interactive graph-based interface for data preprocessing, derivation of structured and unstructured finite elements, and graphical presentation of results.

PC Progress HYDRUS features:

New HYPAR module: Hyper is the balanced version of two- and three-dimensional HYDRUS calculation modules.
New tilt module: This module analyzes the stability of two-dimensional slopes in an open soil layer, including water modeled using vacuum, which automatically inputs HYDRUS results.
Display of wet hydraulic functions of hysteretic soil
Supports complex three-dimensional geometry
Domain properties, initial conditions, and boundary conditions can be based on geometric objects (the transport domain definition) rather than finite element derivation.
