Description
Systat PeakFit software is an indispensable choice in spectroscopy, chromatography or color painting and electrophoresis. This software accepts data in various formats and after performing high-level and complex calculations, displays the results very accurately graphically.
Methods used in Systat PeakFit:
The program uses three different methods to automatically locate hidden vertices (peaks and valleys), although each method is very powerful, but sometimes under certain circumstances the method may result. Better a poor horse than no horse at all.
- Residual method: first locate the peaks by finding the relative maximum of the continuous data stream and then add the hidden peaks to the desired locations where the peaks occur in the rest. ,
- Second Derivative Method: It follows that there are relative minima which are zero near those places where the second derivatives are given in continuous flow. These relative minima usually indicate the location of hidden couriers.
- Decanology Method: Uses a Gaussian response function with the February decanology transform algorithm. The range that can be successfully decanned contains sharper peaks in a relatively balanced range. The goal of this method is to find the highest hidden vertices, each representing a relative maximum.
If PeakFit software's automatic peak placement feature is hampered by highly complex data or noise, you can place peaks graphically with just a few mouse clicks. It also allows you to manipulate very complex data and get simpler output. For most data sets, PeakFit does most of the data processing for you. Calculations that could take hours to complete are now done in minutes and a few clicks with PeakFit. In this way, the software saves your valuable time in doing research.
